Dr. Cristobal Martinez is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic with Physical Therapy privileges. Coming from a sports medicine and rehab-based clinic in Western New York, Dr. Martinez brings years of assessing and correcting human movement patterns.

While pursuing a bachelor’s degree, ultimately graduating from SUNY College at Brockport in Health Science, Cristobal was constantly working to learn and apply as much knowledge about biomechanics as possible by working in a number of different fitness facilities and competing as a collegiate soccer player. Before applying to chiropractic school at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, Cristobal had already attained over a decade of personal training experience and had been the director of training in Rochester, NY. Some of his specialty areas include kettlebells, gymnastics, running, soccer, and weightlifting.

Regardless of your background, Dr. Martinez’s primary objective is to help you get better and stay better. The key is to understand the root issue, fix the issue, and re-enforce positive movements in a functional manner to improve your quality of life. No matter what your goals are, Dr. Martinez is able to individualize your care plan and to help teach you to keep progressing.

When he’s not working, running, or doing something physical, Dr. Martinez can’t sit still. He loves playing music, drawing, traveling to new cities, enjoying craft beers, and exploring the local food scene or cooking at home with his wife and high school sweetheart, Dr. Stephanie Martinez.
