At Ultimate Health, massage therapy isn't about relaxation alone—it's about changing how your body feels and moves. Targeted, Therapeutic Massage to Reduce Tension, Improve Movement, and Support Recovery
Traditional massage often focuses on general relaxation, full-body non-specific treatment, and temporary relief. At Ultimate Health, we use massage therapy as a tool, not a routine.
What Makes Our Massage Therapy Different?
- Targeted – Focused on the tissues limiting your movement or recovery.
- Clinical – Guided by assessment and diagnosis.
- Integrated – Paired with rehab, chiropractic care, and movement training.
- Goal-driven – Designed to support performance and healing.
What Is Therapeutic Massage Therapy?
Therapeutic massage uses manual techniques on muscles and connective tissue to reduce muscle tone and tension, improve circulation, improve tissue mobility, and decrease pain sensitivity. Our therapist adjusts pressure, technique, and focus areas—including deep tissue, sports, and Swedish techniques—based on your needs and tolerance.
Conditions Commonly Treated With Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is commonly used for neck and shoulder tension, low back tightness, hip and glute restrictions, headaches and jaw tension, sports and training-related soreness, and stress-related muscle guarding. It may also be used to prepare tissue before rehab exercises or adjustments, making those treatments more effective.
Massage Therapy as Part of a Complete Care Plan
Massage therapy is most effective when combined with physical therapy and rehab, chiropractic adjustments, dry needling, laser therapy, and movement retraining. This integrated approach helps us improve mobility, reduce pain, and reinforce changes through movement. For deeper adhesions, Active Release Technique may also be recommended.
What to Expect During a Massage Therapy Session
Your session includes a discussion of your symptoms and goals, targeted treatment to specific areas, pressure adjusted to your comfort level, and follow-up movement or exercise recommendations when appropriate. Sessions are efficient, intentional, and aligned with your recovery goals.
Is Massage Therapy Right for You?
Massage therapy may be a great fit if you feel tight, stiff, or restricted, have recurring muscle tension, need support for recovery or performance, or want massage with a purpose—not just relaxation. If another treatment would be more effective, we'll guide you in that direction.

Massage Therapy FAQs
What types of massage do you offer?
Our licensed massage therapist provides deep tissue, sports, and Swedish massage, customized to your specific conditions and goals.
Is therapeutic massage different from a spa massage?
Yes. Therapeutic massage is guided by assessment and focused on the tissues limiting your movement or recovery, rather than general relaxation alone.
Can I book massage therapy without seeing a chiropractor?
Yes. Massage therapy can be scheduled on its own or as part of a plan that includes chiropractic care and rehab.
Will massage therapy hurt?
Pressure is always adjusted to your comfort. Some targeted work may feel intense, but it should never be more than you can comfortably tolerate.
How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your goals. Patients recovering from injury may benefit from more frequent sessions, while others use massage periodically for maintenance and recovery.
Do you offer massage gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards can be purchased online through our online gift card page.
Can massage help with headaches?
Yes. Releasing tension in the neck, shoulders, and jaw can help reduce the frequency and intensity of tension headaches.
