What to Expect as a New Patient
Whether you're coming in for back pain, neck pain, a sports injury, or recovery after a car accident, your first visit is designed to give you clear answers and a plan that makes sense.
Before Your Visit
- Complete your new patient forms online so your time in the office can focus on you.
- Bring your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of any medications you take.
- Bring any relevant imaging or reports, such as X-rays or MRI results, if you have them.
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely during your exam.
During Your First Appointment
Your provider will review your health history, talk with you about your goals, and perform a thorough exam of your posture, movement, strength, and joint function. We'll explain what we find in plain language and recommend a personalized plan that may include chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy and rehab, Active Release Technique, dry needling, or laser therapy. When appropriate, treatment can begin the same day.
After Your First Visit
You'll leave with a clear understanding of your condition, your treatment plan, and what you can do at home to support your recovery. As you improve, we'll progress your care toward strength, mobility, and long-term maintenance, with support from services such as massage therapy, nutrition coaching, and fitness programs.

Plan for your first visit to take longer than follow-up visits, since it includes a detailed history, exam, and discussion of your treatment plan.
Will I receive treatment on my first visit?

Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to see our chiropractors. Some insurance plans have their own requirements, so we recommend checking your benefits.
